Less that a 2 miles for the historic Erie Canal Park in Camillus, it would have been an easy, well anticipated and welcome journey for travelers along the canal to make it to the Inn, for dinner and lodging.
The park hosts events all year long, a museum, hiking trails and access for Canoe and Kayak adventurers. Ask Phillippe for details, and there is a full Kayak adventure shop just a few blocks from the Inn. Make a weekend of it, explore, try fishing in the Wilderness area located along Nine Mile creek for the weekend, there is also a Fly Fishing Guide shop located just outside of town.
